Welcome to Diving Northern California!

With a strong and growing diver population here in NorCal it seemed like time for a real online forum dedicated to the needs specific to OUR kind of diving. The Monterey Bay and Big Sur all the way north to the Sonoma Coast, Mendocino, Fort Bragg and beyond. For the adventurous diver Northern California has it all.

Why a forum?                  TAKE ME TO THE FORUM NOW!

We're sick of the other options. No other site caters to the northern california diving experience sufficiently. Many of us enjoy and prefer a forum type environment, and the big forums are too general. So now we have our own place.

I'm a freediver, or a tech diver, or a spearhunter or a...... can I still hang?

We are all divers. Come on in, sign up, and post to your hearts content. If you think we need to add a section to address your needs. Just say so.
Things are in a state of flux, so stay tuned for more improvements and updates.

- We hope you enjoy Diving Northern California.

Hi all,
i've been diving for a few years. I got started going with a friend of mine who has moved away and I am looking for some new diving buddies. I generally dive around Ft. Ross and Ft. Bragg.

Hi Divers!  I've never been part of a group before, so forgive me if my questions are dumb.  My husband, Bill, and I, live in the mountains of NC.  My diving is mostly technical, and entails deep diving, cold water diving, and teaching.  I'm not worried about the gear...

Hi all,
My wife and I are avid divers who are in the Monterey area for a few months.  We've been having a ball, at least until today.  We had some problems at Monastery Beach, toward the south end, and my wife lost her camera and light.  I don't know what the surge and...
